International Obada Prize 2021
Prof. Dr. Tasawar Hayat, a distinguished Professor of Mathematics at Quaid-i-Azam University and Secretary General of Pakistan Academy of Sciences has been honored with the prestigious International Obada Prize for his outstanding research and scholarly contribution. Obada-Prize is an international award, endowed by the Natural Sciences Publishing supported by the African Academy of Sciences (North Africa Branch). This prize was initiated as a recognition of his excellence Professor Abdel-Shafy Obada. The Obada-Prize recognizes and encourages innovative and interdisciplinary research that cuts across traditional boundaries and paradigms. It aims to foster universal values of excellence, creativity, justice, democracy, and progress and to promote the scientific, technological, and humanistic achievements that advance and improve our world.
Professor Tasawar Hayat’s contributions include the developments of fundamental diversified models for modified Darcy’s law, peristalsis, Cattaneo-Christov theory, fractional calculus, complex network systems, and climate change thermodynamics. He is Fellow of the Pakistan Academy of Sciences, Third World Academy of Sciences (TWAS), and Islamic World Academy of Sciences (IWAS). He has received 42 international and national awards and honors such as Khwarizmi International Award, ISESCO International Award, ISESCO International Prize, COMSTECH International Award, TWAS Young Scientist Prize, Abdus Salam Prize, Alexander Von Humboldt Fellowship, three State Awards (Tamgha, Sitara and Hilal)-i-Imtiaz by the President of Pakistan, several gold medals, highly cited researcher, the Visiting, Adjunct and Honorary Prossorships by several international and national Universities etc. He is Principal investigator/co-investigator of 17 research projects. He published one book by Springer and over thousand international and national Sci research papers. He has over 750 research articles as first author. He has 124 highly cited research publications. These research papers have 70000 citations and 104 h-index by Web of Science; 92621 citations and 123 h-index by google scholar and 77531 citations and 108 h-index by Scopus.
