International Conference on Cultivating Wellness Bridging Agriculture, Food & Health (23-25 April, 2025)
The world today faces an array of complex challenges that intersect across various domains-agriculture, food systems, and public health.
With the rapid pace of global change, we are witnessing a profound impact on the sustainability and security of food production, distribution, and consumption. Concurrently, health issues like malnutrition, obesity, and chronic diseases are increasingly affecting populations across the globe. The alarming rise in these health concerns, along with the devastating effects of climate change on agriculture, calls for a deeper understanding of the interconnectedness between agriculture, food, and health.
In light of these considerations, this three-day event is being organized by the Pakistan Academy of Sciences in collaboration with the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus at Forman Christian College University, Lahore.
Venue:
The Conference will be held at the beautiful campus of the Forman Christian College University (FCCU) Lahore, Pakistan, which is a more than 160-year-old institution. The University is located in the heart of Lahore, which is the cultural capital of Pakistan.
